JACKIE LEE YOUNG
Jackie Lee Young is an award-winning artist and photographer exploring work that includes portraiture, music, touring, lifestyle, travel, design and advertising. Her work is notable for capturing humanity through portraits and candids, innovative style, music culture, and community, and shedding light on the beauty of the natural world and the curiosities of everyday life on film.
She is an expert in documenting details, style, culture, color, and movement using 120mm and 35mm film as well as digital photography as her foremost formats.
She has been Khruangbin’s tour photographer since 2021 and will continue to document their tour across the world in 2024 and beyond. Music clients include Leon Bridges, Becky G., St.Vincent, AG Club, Adrian Quesada, Bill Callahan, Sony + Colombia Records, Golden Voice, Fader, Rough Trade Records, Dead Oceans, and In Time Media.
Playing an integral role as a photographer on many festival teams across the nation, she lends her signature editorial-to-stage photographic style most notably to Coachella and Tyler The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw as well as Austin City Limits and SXSW.
Editorial and commercial clients include W Magazine, The New York Times, Coveteur, Creem Magazine, T-Magazine, T-Brand Studios, as well as Apple Music, Crown Royal, and Don Julio Tequila.
Living in Austin, Texas, she works around the world. Collector of film stocks, 35mm cameras, and photography books, the thrill of shooting film never gets old to her.
